Which size should I use?
Square (1080×1080) is the classic feed post. Portrait (1080×1350) shows larger in the feed and is the most common choice now. Story (1080×1920) is for Stories and Reels.
Will my photo get cropped?
This resizes to fit the exact dimensions, which can stretch a photo that isn't already close to that shape. For a different source aspect ratio, use the manual width/height fields instead and adjust before uploading to Instagram, which will still crop on its end if needed.
